- This is the microscope I’m planning to use as a starting point for building a 3D printer. The handle at the top can be turned, moving the Z axis slowly up and down. The XY table is mounted on this picture. It has a glass where the stuff to be inspected would be placed.
- There used to be a light from underneath the microscope, pointing up to the working area. The X-Y table is supposed to be attached on top of the lens.

- This is the light source, which is mirrored inside the microscope base to light up the working area. I’ll remove this part.

- The handle at the top of the Z-axis came off easily. Here I will place a stepper motor somehow. I will probably be needing gears for this.
